Circular Economy and Zero Pollution

The aim of this call is to facilitate the transition toward a sustainable, circular, energy-efficient and climate-resilient economy, and at protecting, restoring and improving the quality of the environment in line with the European Green Deal and recent policy developments. 

In this context, the main requirement is to cover one of the proposed topics, that include increasing water resilience, involving the integrated freshwater resource management. This call covers a wide range of priority areas and themes. Sustainable aquaculture practices aimed at enhancing water management, supporting the EU Biodiversity Strategy or reducing the pressure of human activities on the marine environment are eligible under the priority area of “water”.
