Description
The BBT Final Online Conference will take place on 29 January 2026 in two parts: Part 1: Blue Skills EU Initiatives & Insights (Unlimited Access) and Part 2: Interactive Breakout Training Sessions (Limited Access)
The interactive conference brings together past BBT participants, students, professionals, entrepreneurs, mentors, and policymakers to share experiences and explore the skills, support, and networks shaping Europe’s next generation of blue careers. The sessions are as follows:
Part 1 • 90 min 11:00-12:00 • Blue Skills EU Initiatives & Insights (Unlimited Access)
This opening session delves into key EU initiatives driving the blue economy forward, including Blue Comp and other impactful programs. Training materials and opportunities will be available within the EU framework and beyond. As well as plenary presentations from experts and stakeholders. The session will also include testimonials from past participants of blue bioeconomy hackathons and webinars, showcasing the power of collaboration and innovation within the field.
Part 2 • 90 min, 12:30-14:00 (2 sessions in parallel with separate registration links) • Two Interactive Breakout Training Sessions (Limited Access)
Hands-on breakout sessions will provide practical insights for aspiring professionals, entrepreneurs, and founders. Participants can register for one of the two parallel sessions:
