The WIN-BIG Baltic Event, organised within the framework of 3 WIN-BIG Sea Basin regional events (Mediterranean, Baltic and Atlantic), aims to strengthen links and synergies between women operating in the different sectors of the Blue Economy. The goal of this event is threefold:
- Reflecting on the role of women in the Baltic Blue Economy by hosting a flagship Conference
- Building horizontal skills practical for different career stages and paths by carrying out a series of Learning Labs
- Boosting confidence, resilience, and meaningful connections through more out-of-the-box exercises by hosting a Women's Retreatas a closing session to the event.
As part of the WIN-BIG Baltic Event, an exhibition will highlight some of the Women Ocean Champions from the Baltic Sea region. This exhibition will showcase the incredible work and contributions of women leading the way in ocean conservation, blue innovation, sustainable marine practices, and community engagement across the Baltic.
Overall, the event will encourage collaboration to tackle gender biases and create a welcoming space for everyone to contribute to gender inclusivity in the blue economy.
