Description
The MARMED Project is conducting a free pilot course for its Blue Cluster Manager Training, with the goal of bridging the gap between present needs and Maritime Cluster Managers' current skill sets. The course also defines a unique professional profile for increasing the competitiveness of Maritime Clusters in the Mediterranean region and promoting innovation and long-term growth in the Blue Economy.
Maritime Clusters represent important policy tools to support sustainable growth and jobs across the Mediterranean. They promote the uptake of innovation, knowledge, skills as well as access to finance – ensuring that the support provided is effective and locally grounded.
The curriculum developed by the project consists of 75-hours of blended learning and will cover the following topics:
Module 1: Basic introduction to Blue Economy Sectors
Module 2: Soft skills
Module 3:Managerial and Technical skills
Module 4: Policy knowledge
The Erasmus+ MARMED project pays all costs. The course will also include a two-day study visit in Trieste, Italy, scheduled for June 13th-14th, 2024. The costs for travel and accommodation will be fully covered by the project.
The course will begin in May 2024.
Deadline for registration is Thursday 18 April 2024.
