11th Atlantic Stakeholders Platform Conference ASPC 2024

Registration has opened for the 11^th Atlantic Stakeholders Platform Conference (ASPC 2024), which takes place in Bordeaux, France and online on the 21-22 November. 

The 11th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference (ASPC 2024) takes place four years after launching the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0 – A New Approach to the Atlantic Maritime Strategy. The Conference will, as in previous years, provide all stakeholders of the Atlantic Community the opportunity to review the progress and achievements made so far regarding AAP 2.0, objectives and blue economy challenges in the Atlantic Sea Basin.

The conference aims to:

• Provide an overview of the current status of the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0 implementation
• Focus on Atlantic cooperation opportunities in order to boost the operationalisation of the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0 and in particular bring the Atlantic Maritime Strategy closer to its actors/projects/communities.
• Identify critical and common challenges of all EU sea basins and promote dialog on their solution.
• Showcase funding opportunities, projects, best practices, and community platforms that promote the Blue Economy and the EU Green Deal.
• Foster collaboration between stakeholders, existing and new players that will unlock opportunities and accelerate the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0 - contributing to an impact-driven networked innovation ecosystem in the Atlantic.

What to expect during the conference?

• An opening ceremony including welcome addresses from ASC French Presidency and EU Political leaders, mapping of the day and opening session informing on the ASPC’s structure and agenda.
• Plenary Sessions/Flash Sessions that will include engaging presentations and discussions between Pillar Coordinators, National Hubs, European Commission Officials, other AAP stakeholders and the Conference’s participants.
• The Atlantic Project Awards Ceremony at which theAtlantic Project Awards 2024 will be announced and brief presentations will be delivered by the awarded organisations/projects.
• Side networking and matchmaking activities including discussion corners and roundtables for exchanges between participants (project promoters, funding agencies) and the Atlantic stakeholders.
• A closing plenary session including the outcomes of the conference and the handover of the ASC Presidency.
