European Investment Bank host EIB Adaptation Days

The European Investment Bank will host the inaugural "EIB Adaptation Days" event on 24-25 April 2024 in Luxembourg and online. In the face of escalating global warming impacts, the need for proactive adaptation measures and their integration into planning processes, financing and implementation has become urgent. 

It will serve as a platform to highlight the EIB's commitment to increased funding and the provision of advisory services dedicated to climate adaptation.

The "EIB Adaptation Days" are envisioned as a recurring initiative, fostering the sharing of knowledge and the latest approaches in the bank's climate adaptation practice. This conference presents an opportunity for engagement with professionals across the public and private sectors, including officials from finance and environment ministries, corporate representatives from network operators, public concession providers, and financial and insurance sectors, to share their experiences facing climate change impacts and their future actions.
