Description
The European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC) takes place in Bilbao, Spain over five days from the 3rd till 7th September. The event forms a series of international, technical and scientific conferences that focus on wave and tidal energy, derived from the water column in the ocean.
EWTEC is a well-known conference for renewable energy, and it has grown considerably since it started in 1993.
Since the beginning, EWTEC has been a global centre for research, development, and demonstration in wave and tidal energy conversion technologies. EWTEC is well-known for the high quality of the academic and business contributions it accepts. These contributions are reviewed by peers, given at the conference, and published in the proceedings. Highly impactful outputs from the conference proceedings are normally selected to be published in the EWTEC’s International Marine Energy Journal.
The main purpose of the EWTEC is to provide a forum to talk, share the latest information, and discuss new ideas and issues related to wave and tidal energy conversion. Thus providing attendees with an unparalleled forum for knowledge transfer and debate at the cutting edge of marine renewable energy technology.
