Description
The Copernicus Marine Service is hosting a two-day online workshop dedicated to harnessing marine data for a sustainable future of our oceans.
The event will explore key oceanic phenomena, with a focus on sustainable ocean use across various sectors. Topics will include wind energy, oil spills, navigation routes, and others. Discussions will address the physical, geochemical, and environmental impacts of these activities, aiming to foster a deeper understanding of how data can support sustainable practices for healthy oceans.
A practical session (Day 2) will be dedicated to live demonstrations of the use of the data using:
- Jupyter Notebooks,
- QGIS software,
- R Studio.
