Description
AquaFarm, the Italian international conference and trade show on aquaculture and the sustainable fishing industry, will take place on 14th and 15th February 2024 in Pordenone, Italy.
The two-day event is dedicated to and reserved for the Euro-Mediterranean sustainable aquaculture industry operators, one of the food production activities with the highest growth rate worldwide. They supply 46% of the total fish consumed and exceed deep-sea fishing as a supply source. Moreover, using sustainability criteria, aquaculture could become the most advantageous zoo technical activity regarding the relationship between the foodstuff used and the product obtained.
With over 110 exhibitors and 2500 visitors (from 32 Countries) at the previous edition, the event will provide the opportunity to meet the operators involved in the industry – from breeding, processing and transformation up to distribution and consumption – with the chance to meet demand and offer, professional updating and networking. The Event is addressed to the sector operators in the Mediterranean Sea Basin: from Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, and the Balkan Area to Greece, Malta, Turkey, Spain and Portugal.
