18 International start-ups shaking up the blue value chain will feature at the Blue Food Innovation Summit on 8-9 April in London, showcasing the most exciting innovations emerging from across the world, hand-picked for their scalable solutions.

From breakthroughs in fish health and feed innovation to game-changing ocean data solutions, summit delegates will discover the technologies transforming the sector’s efficiency and sustainability, meeting face-to-face the brains behind the ideas face-to-face.

ive seed stage entrepreneurs will pitch their solutions on stage in the Start-Up Showcase:

  • Banyu (Indonesia) grows high-quality seaweed seedlings using regenerative farming to boost yields, restore oceans, and support coastal communities.
  • Blue Food Performance (UK)
  • provides independent, transparent, and scientifically verified blue food sustainability assessments to ensure scientific integrity and commercial relevance.
  • Flomo (New Zealand) has developed a fishing gear technology designed to enhance animal welfare, protect ecosystems, and improve catch quality.
  • Part of the Yield Lab cohort, Flonergia Systems (Canada) has developed an enery and cost-efficient pump systems providing an alternative to existing centrifugal pumping and aeration systems.
  • Ocean Twist Biotechology (Italy) enhances fish welfare and aquaculture productivity with their circular high-performance protein feed ingredients.
