The 'Country Profiles' page is the most recent section of the EU Blue Economy Observatory to be added to this thorough overview of the Blue Economy in the EU Member States. Visitors can investigate how every country's coastal and marine resources are harnessed to their full potential and which are the actions taken locally to ensure a sustainable blue economy.

Each country profile reveals illustrations of the evolution of the Blue Economy's established sectors: Marine living resources, Marine living energy, Shipbuilding repair, Coastal tourism, Marine non-living resources, Port activities, and Maritime transport. It also shows the evolution of employment in these sectors and GVA.

These pages complement the Dashboards section within the EU Blue Economy Observatory, which has national data and further information about Educational and Employment opportunities in the Blue Economy sectors.
